- Accumulator
- A bet that combines multiple selections into one wager; all selections must win for you to get a payout.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread bet that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage, removing the draw as an option.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you create a single bet by picking different markets from the same match.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that lists the bets you have chosen, the odds, and the potential payout.
- BTTS
- Short for Both Teams To Score; a bet on whether each side will score at least one goal.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the match ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, such as home win or draw.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win on the chosen outcome.
- Expected Value
- The average amount you can expect to win or lose per bet over many repetitions, based on the odds and probability.
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit you can use to place a bet without risking your own money; any winnings are usually yours to keep.
- Goal Line
- A line set by the bookmaker for the total number of goals in a match; you bet on whether the actual total will be over or under that line.
- Handicap
- A virtual advantage or disadvantage given to a team to level the odds, expressed as a positive or negative number.
- In-Play
- Betting on a match while it is still happening, with odds that change as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The extra percentage a bookmaker adds to the odds, also called vigorish or vig, which is how they make a profit.
- KYC
- Short for Know Your Customer; the process of verifying your identity to comply with legal and security standards.
- Odds
- The price that reflects how likely an outcome is and determines how much you can win if your bet wins.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic, like total goals, will be higher or lower than a number set by the bookmaker.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for you to receive a payout.
- Responsible Gambling
- Tools and practices, like deposit limits and self‑exclusion, designed to help you bet safely and stay in control.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- Tournament Winner
- A bet on which national team will win the entire World Cup tournament.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered seem higher than the true chance of the outcome, suggesting a positive expected value.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is canceled and your stake is returned, usually because the event was postponed or rules changed.
- Wagering Requirement
- A condition that you must bet a certain total amount before you can withdraw any bonus winnings.
